It can also be placed on the kitchen countertop, but because the kitchen countertop is larger, the operation frequency is higher, and the requirements are higher, so our suggestion is:

1. Choose hardwoods produced in North America or Europe, such as cherry wood, black walnut, hard maple, white wax, oak and so on.

2. Ensure that the moisture content of the wood is below 12%, the lower the better. Wood with high moisture content has a very high risk of deformation and cracking.

3. Ensure that the countertop has structural treatment, such as the strapping on the back. Although the countertops we made are wide and straight, there are multiple straps on the back to control the deformation of the wood, which can guarantee a longer time of use.

4. If possible, choose wood with high stability and corrosion resistance, such as cherry wood and black walnut wood.
